Released in the dead of winter, "Blood Bank" was the perfect companion to the cold, ice and snow that characterized a very bleak winter round these parts. Poignant lyrics, simple strumming fleshed out by Bon Iver's new full band sound and, of course, Justin Vernon's amazing voice to warm the heart or send chills down your spine, either way the guy is great.
